Mango-filled Doughnuts

The other night I had a dream that Dr. Reid gave me a box of 500 mango-filled doughnuts. They were filled with real mangoes! When I woke up in the morning, I felt kind of sick to my stomach because in my dream I'd been eating so many doughnuts. Alyson and I were trying to figure out what the dream meant, and then this morning when I pulled out my new favorite drink for breakfast--mango peach V8 Splash--we realized that my dream must have originated from my juice. The juice is delicious. I don't know where the doughnuts came from though.

I think that Stephen drank so much yesterday that he was a little delirious last night. I was reading before I went to bed, and I heard him out in the living room blabbering in his sleep. It was kind of funny :-) Today the garbage can in the kitchen was full of liquor bottles :-( This morning when I woke up, it felt like it was about zero degrees in the house! It has gotten significantly colder here just within the last couple of days, and I think Stephen was sleeping with the living room window open again. I was buried in my bed with my bedspread pulled over me plus an extra blanket on top, and I was still frozen when I woke up. Thank heavens that today was the last day the desperate house guests were here! They rolled out of town with Aly after class this morning and headed for New York. Class was a lot of fun today. We talked about historic landscapes--I love historic landscapes!

After class, Greg came down here, and he and I drove up to Tuscola to have lunch at Flesor's Candy Kitchen--home of the world's best Reuben sandwich (literally)! Greg loved the food and the old-fashioned ambiance. We had planned on going up to Allerton Park to walk around and throw the football around after lunch, but it was much too cold out today for that, so we came back to Charleston and watched my favorite movie: "Night at the Museum." Then I whipped up dinner--everyone's favorite bruschetta chicken bake, green beans, and an apple pie. It was quite delicious. I have waaaay too much food to eat before I leave on Saturday though. I think I'll invite some of my classmates who are still in town over for dinner tomorrow so they can help me eat the leftovers. Tomorrow is going to be a busy, busy, busy, busy day, but at least I'll have a fun trip to look forward to!
