Pre-spring Update

Apparently when I say that I'll be updating my blog soon, it means that it will be over a month! :) Sorry that it's been so long since I have posted anything--it certainly was not for a lack of important things happening! It's not quite spring yet, but thankfully it has been feeling like spring outside, and spring is almost here, so I shall call this my "pre-spring update." The best thing that's happened in the last couple of months was that this CUTE little guy, Sawyer, joined Sarah and Joel's family!!

His sweet brother and sis. love him so much!

Camden and Lindy got to head to Illinois to help with the new baby. Sawyer already loves his cousin!

These two sillies helped us celebrate Greg's birthday in February. :) It just so happened that the Super Bowl was on Greg's Birthday Eve, so that was a great reason for a football cake!

Despite there only being five candles on the cake, this was not Greg's fifth birthday. We figured that 32 candles would be a bit extreme, so we did three on one side and two on the other. Ben especially loves helping to blow out candles. What a fun evening we had!

On Greg's actual birthday, he and I went to a Jazz game!

The Jazz were playing the Sacramento Kings, so we got to see JIMMER play!!! (I know, it was probably more of a present for me, but I think Greg had a good time too.)

For Valentine's Day, Lily posed with my favorite Valentine's pillow--"Your Mine." For some reason when people spell "your" instead of "you're," it drives me CRAZY! :)

And here is our traditional President's Day cherry pie! This year we also had President's Day cherry doughnuts. You can't have too much cherry in February!

Have I mentioned that I love my job? :) The other day at work I got to see this really cool, important piece of papyrus. This is the papyrus that was with the mummies purchased by Joseph Smith in 1835, from which he translated the Book of Abraham! How cool is that????? He sold the papyrus and mummies when the Church came into financial trouble, so we don't know where the mummies ended up, but the papyrus was donated back to the Church a number of years ago.

Something fun that Greg has been doing for the last couple of months is playing church basketball. It can get a little violent at times, but the guys are generally pretty nice to each other :) His last game was last night, but he's glad that they will all still get together to practice each week. Greg has been crazy busy at work, but I think he is enjoying working with his new boss, and we love our house and new surroundings here in Lehi. We are definitely ready for spring!
