The #1 problem in Illinois is corruption, but a close second is the weather. It is soooooooo cold here today, and it's only going to get worse! It is a balmy 10 degrees outside right now, but according to weather.com it feels like -9. The high on Thursday is forecast to be 6 degrees, with a low of -2, and you can imagine how the windchill will make that feel :-( Hopefully the weather won't be too bad for me to drive to Charleston tomorrow because I would really like to get my oral exams out of the way on Thursday (and see the Stowells!). It's supposed to snow a little bit, but mostly the problem will just be the cold air. It's a good thing I have my red marshmallow coat here! It's the warmest coat in the whole world and it will be going with me tomorrow.
Somehow Lily has figured out how to open the closet in our room. The doors to our closet kind of stick, and I can barely get it open! How does she do it? She's a very sneaky, tricky, and mischievous kitty.
